Who We Are

We put the depth and breadth of our nonprofit advancement experience to work for you.

Our expertise and experience shapes our hands-on, client-centered approach. All of our consultants have served in senior leadership roles at nonprofits including professional associations, human service and advocacy agencies, research universities, major healthcare organizations, and some of the nation’s largest and most distinguished cultural institutions.

Our Values and Purpose

We are committed to ethical practice, integrity, honesty, and diversity, equity, and inclusion in our work and our client relationships.

What We Believe

We believe in the noble mission of nonprofit organizations, bringing people together for the common good, giving shape to dreams and high ideals, encouraging civic engagement, solving problems, and creating opportunities that make the world a better place.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to partner with nonprofits in their pursuit of these ideals, assessing strengths and weaknesses, building organizational and fundraising capacity, envisioning future direction, and designing pathways to success and lasting impact.

What We Value

We value each client as distinctive, listening actively to the perspectives of all stakeholders–board members, staff, donors, volunteers, beneficiaries, community members, and strategic partners—in order to tailor strategies that address each organization’s collective challenges, priorities, and aspirations.

Our History

Formerly Ter Molen Watkins & Brandt, TWB Fundraising is the result of a merger between two Chicago-area consulting firms in 2003.
