Rebekah Silverman has spent the last 15 years working with nonprofits because she loves to see the work she does tangibly making the world better for others.
Through her senior-level management experience, focusing on mission-driven decision making and employee engagement strategies, Rebekah brings to TW&B a unique blend of experience both as a senior fundraiser and administrator.
Before joining TW&B, she applied her passion at Growing Home, a workforce training program, where she served as Director of Resource Development and Chief Operating Officer.
In her roles, Rebekah built the infrastructure for the organization’s development program, expanded private foundation solicitation, and managed contracts for multi-year city, state, and federal grants as well as forged cross-sector partnerships between nonprofits, community organizations, schools, and government agencies.
Rebekah began her career in publishing, serving as Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor for nationally-recognized journals. As Co-Founder and Managing Editor at Artifice Magazine, Rebekah developed all fundraising and marketing processes and helped the organization receive 501(c)3 status.
Rebekah holds a Master of Fine Arts in Writing from Purdue University and Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing from Oberlin College.
