More than 10 years ago, Mark successfully transferred his 25+ years’ experience in business development/sales to non-profit development. Having worked for more than a decade with cause or advocacy related non-profits, he is ideally suited to help NPKUA fund its mission to provide advocacy, education, and research to support people with the rare condition PKU.
In his previous positions with Bethesda Lutheran Communities, St. Coletta of Wisconsin, and United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities, Mark’s goal has always been to facilitate the fundraising experience for each prospective donor with whom he works to ensure their philanthropic goals and desires are met.
Mark has a BBA in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and has earned Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credentials.
The National PKU Alliance works to improve the lives of families and individuals associated with PKU through research, support, education, and advocacy, while ultimately seeking a cure. The NPKUA was formed in 2008 by parents, grandparents, and individuals across the country and is the first national non-profit organization to unite adults, families, regional and statewide PKU organizations, the medical community, and PKU-friendly businesses to make a difference in the lives of people with PKU.
