Grace Kefer, CPA, brings to TWB Fundraising over twenty years of experience in financial and human resource management in various private sector industries and also serves as CEO of Kefer Financial.
After graduating from Northern Illinois University, Grace started in the public sector of accounting with the firms of Price Waterhouse and Arthur Andersen where she engaged with companies in their enterprise groups. After leaving public accounting, she added Fortune 500 experience to her portfolio by joining the finance team at Household Finance. Her passion for working with entrepreneurial and mid-sized companies eventually brought her back to the middle market where she helped manage the finances of a Chicago based law firm. Through her association with the Illinois CPA Society, Grace got involved in the niche sector of contractual CFO/Controller services and launched Kefer Financial in the mid 90’s. Since then, she has consulted with and managed companies in the middle market from start-up through sale and acquisition in a diverse array of industries including not for profit.
Grace has enjoyed a long relationship with TWB Fundraising, where she oversees the accounting, personnel, and administrative operations of the firm. Grace resides in La Grange, Illinois with her family.
