Vice President for Advancement: Casa Central

Started in 1954 by a group of multi-denominational Hispanic pastors to meet the needs of newly arrived immigrants, Casa Central has grown into one of the largest Latino social service agencies in the Midwest. The organization’s programming centers on inspiring lifelong learning among children and youth, providing safety and self-reliance for individuals and families and promoting active, healthy lifestyles for older adults. 

Casa Central seeks a Vice President for Advancement to build and oversee the execution of a best-practice fundraising program leading to immediate growth. The ideal candidate for this position will be a confident and innovative strategist who reflects the organization’s core values of connectedness, accountability, responsiveness, excellence, and service in all that they do. The successful candidate will embrace cultural diversity and possess a passion for serving individuals through results and data-informed programming.

Responsibilities

The Vice President for Advancement will spearhead a comprehensive fundraising program while inspiring an advancement team to successfully meet fundraising goals.

Resource Development
  • Build and manage a personal portfolio of 100+ qualified prospects 
  • Report to and collaborate with the President and CEO while actively engaging the Board of Directors
  • Establish long- and short- term fundraising goals, priorities, and policies
Advancement Team Oversight
  • Supervise the Director of Advancement and manage the advancement department as a whole
  • Set high-level strategies and oversee annual giving, major gifts, and planned giving programs
  • Coordinate fundraising from foundations, individuals, and government agencies
